NVBD

New Virtual Band Day!
KB4.jpeg
Had the Trio+ for a few weeks; just added a Peavey KB4 to power it. 15" plus tweeter, tons of bottom end punch. It will provide hours of happy distraction and noisy fun.

Massive thanks to TMcB and Captain Black for their combined efforts in getting it from Wellington. To tell the honest truth, had I realised just how huge, heavy and generally cumbersome this thing is, I may have thought twice about hitting buy now.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Set it all up and had a play today. The Trio is quite clever; bass and drums go to the big ol' Peavey but looped guitar tracks are sent to the guitar amp. It all sounds rather fine and really was worth the money.
Happy man here!

Have to make an observation about the Trio though: In its collection of musical styles it includes Folk but omits Reggae. :wtf:  :bummed:
