Re: NAD Yamaha THR10
ive had this prejudice ever since owning a helix and not even giving a second thought re; headphone out.when i compared the difference btween that and the line outs i was quite astounded.Low power use for modern device/impedence/yadda yadda tech.I also tried running the thr into a power amp but sadly it didnt sound as good as i hoped, which i put down to the possibly low impedence...Aquila Rossa wrote:
Marshall Code is the same deal. No dedicated line out. RS staff tried to convince me the sound out of the headphone jack is exactly the same sound quality as a line out would be, or even the USB. I was not convinced. However, for both amps people in reviews say to run to a mixer and PA via headphone jack, so maybe these ones can act as both. I dunno.
good for cans/monitoring
not for trying to get more juice for jamming IMHO
