Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Does this one have a volume boost installed?

Yes, but I will remove it as I want the amp standard.

Good score, was extremely tempted by this amp myself.
The person you scored it from sold me his 1977 Marshall JMP 2204 to buy it!

It's my old one. The volume boost was installed by Clarry. Good when you want to solo.

Great amp- used to have one. Like you said though- insanely loud. Even at outdoor gigs and set to 45 watts I couldn't get the volume above 4.

It's louder than any other amp I've had - louder than Marshalls and louder than a Mark V. Very muscular amp.
