Great 4 X EL84 40W amp. Really like the vibe with the 84s. Top build quality. Jury's not out yet on the weight factor but will try a fold up hand cart and see how we go. Was trying to downsize and failed miserably.
NAD. Hi Watt custom shop stage/studio combo

Gorgeous amp. I love Hiwatt tones but they're SO FUCKING LOUD!!!!!!!!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Yea that's it. Forgot to mention it's the Mk2. Awesome playing on that clip...wish I could play like that. This one is loud alright but in 20W not too bad.Aquila Rossa wrote:This?

Yeah ask my brother about the volume of a Hiwatt Custom 100 in its sweet spot. He won't respond because he won't have heard the question... but shit jokes aside he genuinely does have Hiwatt-induced hearing loss.Slowy wrote:Gorgeous amp. I love Hiwatt tones but they're SO FUCKING LOUD!!!!!!!!
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Woah, Blues Saraceno, thats a name I haven't heard since the late 80's / early 90's!
