NAD: Friedman Runt 20
I have to say I am very impressed. 2 channels, the clean is good, the dirt channel spectacular. It's quiet too, very low level of background hum/hiss which is a major bug bear of mine. happy days.

Is this replacing the 65 Amps Whiskey? (Looks like you're having a bit of a clean out on trademe, eh?!)

Re: NAD: Friedman Runt 20
From what I have seen and heard in demos, this guy's amps clean up really nice with the guitar's volume. Some of them even clean up just by picking soft, but overdrive lots by digging in. Amazing dynamics apparently.

There must be something wrong...I don't see a lemonburst R9 in the TradeMe listings from opsguy?

Hmm, the Friedman forum trend is the first one I've been jealous of for a while.

Buy my Tremolo pedal and I'll buy a Friedman BE-OD and get bored of it and sell it to you as well.hamo wrote:Hmm, the Friedman forum trend is the first one I've been jealous of for a while.

I was never a Marshall fan. I know that's rich from a guy who loves Bogners.
But I love the BE OD, which makes me think a Friedman might be in the future one day...great looking amp that!

The only flaw in this plan is my ability to fund it...JHorner wrote:Buy my Tremolo pedal and I'll buy a Friedman BE-OD and get bored of it and sell it to you as well.hamo wrote:Hmm, the Friedman forum trend is the first one I've been jealous of for a while.

I sense a TronFest brewing for mid-year...

Tronfest sounds like a great annual event...there's some serious gear accumulating underneath the mist round here lately.
