Bugger me, impressive bit of kit for sure. 6L6 driven and built like a tank, covers all bases thankfully as I'm not a metalhead :problem:

At risk of sounding like Molly... I don't think this one will be leaving my hands for some time.

Congrats!

haha, I am sure that's my old one, most labels were rubbed off at the time.

Sold it in 2009 and love the tone

Awesome amps those, i assumed they would be all metal but one of the best pushed cleans and Marshall type crunch I've tried!

What's that on top of it? Pedal or attenuator?

Whence did you acquire said power soak device? And which model is that?

I've probably had it for about a year, it's great as to my ears there's no discernible affect to the tone.

It's USA made by 'Carl's Custom Guitars' and from memory it's suitable to be ran into 8ohm cabs with amps up to 60w.

Cool, taa. I have no need for one just now but a Fender amp is still on my list, or a Mesa if I win the lottery. The former, if not the latter too, will undoubtedly require a bit of taming for the bedroom ;) Hyuk hyuk hyuk...

I paid four figures, but I guess any piece of gear is worth as little or as much as a buyer is willing to pay.

Was surprised when I took the back off it that it has a lovely big USA made spring reverb unit in it. Unusual to see one in a head, no?

Yep, nice cab too. Forgot which speakers he's put into it, two of them are Sheffield's. Looked good, sounded great ;-)
