NGD - Greco

Post by Dano_NZ »

Greco RG-85 or RG-100, not sure. Complete with trapeze tailpiece and Creamery Toaster Pickups. Took a bit of messing around with the pickup mounts and still not 100% happy (had to insert a hardwood plug for pickup screw and inserted neck pickup screw on an angle to "catch the the wood").

Plays really well and has the Rickenbacker Chime (cliche' I know). These Greco's are extremely well made. Top is solid maple routed out just like the orginals. Neck generous unlike the originals. Intonation perfect.

A Ricky with a proper neck! Interesting....very interesting.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Thanks for the comments guys, teamed it up with a Digitech Mosaic. Does it sound like a Rickenbacker 12? Not really - but easier to play and tune.
