NAD: Incoming New Gear

Post by Mini Forklift »

Christmas/New Year present to myself

Ceriatone 'Steel String Singer' 100w head, being built for me now. I changed the grille cloth to a Vox/diamond one because I thought it would suit it better...

Will be sitting on top of a nice un-tolexed 2x12 that I should have by early next week...

I think this could actually be my bucket list amp setup

Cheers James, it's a clone of the Dumble Steel String Singer that was largely associated with Eric Johnson and SRV.

Living out my fantasies outside of the bedroom!

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
If you're going to do a 100w bedroom amp, this is the way to go.

Think I might celebrate a Powerball win with 15-20 Ceriatones. Get all the ingredients, like.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Too many knobs, but the speaker cabinet looks cool as!
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Pine cab with a rimu front. Has a pair of Celestion Red Rocket 12' 50w speakers in it, should sound pretty decent.

Thanks all. And a big thumbs up to Troy (2Sassey), I have a Free The Tone Flight Time FT-1Y delay on the way out to me next week. Always wanted one of those since seeing it a few times on That Pedal Show; if Mick can use and understand it then that's good enough for me 8)

Will probably be the only thing that is going to be used with this amp.
