'New Cheap Les Paul Day'

Thought it might happen, had a hankering for something in the vein of an LP after I passed my one onto AiRdAd. Not looking for something expensive - for some reason a high price has no correlation to whether I bond with it or not. So with that being said I have this on the way, should be with me hopefully tomorrow :)

Haze is an Australian guitar company, this particular one supposedly weighs 3.6kg and the specs on it seem fine for what I'm looking for...

Scale Length: 24.75" (628mm)
Body: Solid mahogany w/carved arch flame maple veneer
Binding: Deluxe 5-ply ABS Cream
Neck: Mahogany Thin-C, glue-set w/custom 5-ply headstock binding
Fingerboard: Rosewood w/custom abalone & mother-of-pearl block inlays
Bridge: Gold-tone Tune-O-Matic + Lok-Tone Stop Tail
Frets: 22
Pickups: 2 classic Alnico V Humbuckers, covered
Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3-way selector, amber speed knobs
Tuners: Gold-tone 14:1 tombstone rotomatic
Finish: Gloss Natural Flame Maple (top); Gloss Ebony (back/sides), Vintage Cream pickguard & pickup rings

The binding, inlays etc are all meant to be of a pretty decent quality, guess we'll see once it arrives. Will let y'all know once I've given it a once-over and a new set of strings

Same, mainly why I chose it! Think I’ll lose the scratch plate though.

Nice. I thought the fingerboard would be ebony going by the darkness of it - looks the part.

It’s actually really good, have to say I’m pretty stoked with it. Gave it a bit of a setup, new strings and it now plays great. Sounds awesome too, the Alnico V’s have plenty of bite and loud as hell compared to my Strat.

Neck is not as chunky in the hand as my Strat (John Mayer Custom Shop neck), but it’s not skinny so it feels comfortable and very LP-like. Has been a daily player for the last week or so much to the wife’s disappointment.

Genuine LP GAS forces the sale of this one lol so PM me if interested.

$330 for the guitar, $400 with a tweed hardcase.

Any interest at $300 for this? Setup nicely with .010’s, no fret buzz or intonation issues - great bit of gear for not a lot of $$.

$350 and I’ll include a new tweed hardcase.
