New Fun French Guitar Day!

I picked up a ‘98 Vigier Excalibur. Damn it’s fun. Neck is fast but not too skinny (although took a little getting used to the noticeable feel of the carbon strip inlaid into the back of the neck). Very stable and smooth Floyd. Quite a cool super strat.

Will try to achieve pics this weekend.

Is this the outcome of the recent search or was it an impulse buy?

Look forward to the pics.

Are you suggesting that one should not buy any more guitars just because one already has one or more good guitars?

If so, then you may need to hand in your NZG membership.

More seriously, it plays and feels in the same league as my Suhrs.

It has a lot of similarity to a Suhr Standard (which I already have one of, but that's a rosewood fretboard and non-Floyd trem, whereas this Vigier is maple/Floyd).

Also slightly more refined than my ex-Casey Suhr Modern (maple/Floyd).
