Re: HNAD x2
I believe Jackson amps need to be in a house of God and blessed with holy water to perform at their best. In my demonic lair, it wasn't so good. Praise Satan.

Re: HNAD x3
I’ve had 3 Jackson amps, and played another. I’ve also owned the McFly and agree - it definitely likes to breathe. It’s also quite different tonally, I think the knobs cut a la Tim pedals rather than boost IIRC

Re: HNAD x2
I tried the Runt 50 last year, didn't like it but I didn't like the BE100 when I tried it either (their midrange voicing sounded really weird to me). The Runt has less gain than the BE but should be alright for rock and blues.Olderama wrote:Nice one mate can’t wait to see what you think of that runt

My old Cab has never looked so happy!Molly wrote:If you're offended by my casual gear-go-round you don't have to read this. Most folk here like seeing new gear and what's moving about the forum so this is for you.
Arrived today. Marshall Origin 50 head to pair with my THD cab. Huge thanks to RS Dave for the deal on this one. Not a high-gain Marshall particularly but if you want to Kossoff the night away, it's perfect. Has a two button footswitch for the loop and gain boost. Variable wattage too. Sounds way, way better than it should for the money. Reassuringly weighty.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
