Xotic NGD (and rather loving it)
I’ve picked this up whilst in Chicago. Probably can’t work out how to embed from my phone but here’s the imgur album link

If anyone can tell me how to embed images I’ll update this post to do so!

That's just all kinds of horrible.
Actually, jealous much; Wow!

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Yeah not a troll, was just so much like a suhr I wondered if it was an off-shoot?Single coil wrote:Not sure if trolling but this is how I actually feeljeremyb wrote:Why would they copy the suhr headstock and mismatched pickup colour thing they do too? An I missing something??

I didn't used to like the black humbucker thing but I get it now and dig it. It gives it a hotrodded vibe.jeremyb wrote:Why would they copy the suhr headstock and mismatched pickup colour thing they do too? An I missing something??

I agree with Ed re pickups
As far as the headstock goes - Suhr, Tom Anderson and Xotic headstocks all look very similar. I’m guessing boo-teek builders are comfortable with it. I quite like it (certainly more than I like fender’s)

Maple on the neck is lovely. Would’ve been nicer in sonic blue, of course.
The big question remains unanswered... how does it compare to a Suhr?

Haven’t had the chance to play it side by side with my Suhrs (I’m presently sitting in LAX). Feels more vintage to me so far though. Frets must be slightly smaller than my Suhrs. I’m looking forward to hearing how it sounds through an amp.
The roasted neck is LOVELY
