I've looked at those amps many times, what would you say it sounds like Bruce? Still love in my heart for Ryan, can see why others would beg to differ though :(

Quick assessment: mids knob is the key. Down gives a Princeton flavour and up is tweed. There’s more shaping available too. But growly and chimey are what it does.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Not this time.

I've been buying a bit of gear recently and have taken to saying, "I accidentally bought this".

But unless you know that, the title has no context. Bit of a fail on my part really....

That and the PRS are putting me in mind of snarly, searing slide licks. Looking forward to further exploration.

OK, after a bit more exploring:
The Princeton/Tweed impression remains. Like all small amps, volume = dirt.
There's a bright/warm switch which tames highs or adds them for dark pups.
SS or Tube rectifier switch, tightens or loosens the feel.
Pretty much every position on the EQ is usable, including extremes. It can produce some quite nice clean tones but the star for me is cranking it with a P90. Think George Thorogood.

I prefer to use my Blue rather than the G12H30. Gives it a bit more definition

Biamped with both speakers and I'm reminded why I wanted this. The Blue and G12 compliment each other perfectly. Drop either of them out and the sound immediately lacks something.

And here's the best product advice ever.
