Couple of impulse buys.

Post by Molly »

Bought these tonight. The seller was an older guy in his 70s. Had some lovely gear including a SVL Strat. Might be the nicest-feeling Strat I've ever played.

Anyway, got another Blues Jr for no reason other than the finish... and a Soul Food for no reason other than that I don't think I've had one.

Ooo. He also had a couple of Sire. The T7 Tele was fantastic. Roasted maple neck, good hardware. Sounded and played great.

Soul Food is a Klone. It's good. I had this, a Tumnus and an Archer. I sold the Soul Food because it wasn't cork sniffy enough. Sounded fine.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
