I'm not too sure of the year on this one but here's a mid- late 60s Melodier Sorrento Swinger;

Going off some of the design details, I think this was probably made in the Kawai factory. As per a lot of these types of guitars this thing has a MASSIVE neck. It's got really decent sized frets and a beautiful, thick slab of rosewood on the neck. It's a really simple design but the quality of the build seems a little higher than normal. The strap button on the lower bout is in the original position, not too sure yet how that'll work out hanging on a strap!
I don't know what they were smoking in Japan back in the 60s to come up with this look but man, I love this body shape!

I'm not going to mess with it but I keep thinking how cool it would be with a Bigsby B5 and a P90!

would be low risk mod and concealable
you could chuck in a rad repro gold foil single coil ?
