New toy! (Warning - chorus pedal content)
Gadgetry arrived this morning, but I won't be able to test it out until after work. Argh!
I've been on an... ahem, "chorus quest" since selling my overly subtle CH-1 a few months back. Did research on a EHX Small Clone (too simplistic), EHX Clone Theory (too hissy), and even another Boss (too... something) but then saw these demos on YouToob which sealed the deal...

Should be fun.

Looks like a nice pedal...I expect you'll be playing Purple Rain and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds on it

Purple Rain??/
I'd be in for some of that. All we get here is sort of colourless wet stuff...

I got it from eBay, took about a week and a half to get here.
Nightmare when I got home last night though. Plugged it in, admired the pretty lights - top LED strobes at speed of effect. Strummed my standard "test" G chord - no sound. Checked amp volume and guitar volume. Still nothing. Checked power supply and changed to battery, still nothing. Argh! After about fifteen minutes of rising anger and twiddling with every possible dial, cable and instrument I figured out that if I pulled the guitar cable about 3mm out of the pedal input it worked fine.
After that drama I have to say it sounds fantastic. You can get some lovely lush chorus (of course I had to jam on the intro to Come As You Are ), a sort of faux Leslie effect and insane wibbly wobbly Octopus's Garden stuff when you crank the knobs. Highly recommended to those chorus and/or vibrato inclined.

'Viagra' is now available in powder form for your tea.
It doesn't enhance your sexual performance but it does stop your biscuit going soft.
