Usually, I improvise for whenever we practice it, and then I decide to keep some licks or scrap them. Pretty much how it goes for me XD

Or you could do the Andreas Kisser thing and just shred the rhythm piece two octaves up

I'm not going to comment much... my soloing ability is like a child's fingerpainting. It's only 'art' to the people who don't want to hurt your feelings.
