So it's occured to me after breaking the high e tuning my Ric 360/12 that it's possible I've not restringed it since I got Glynn to do a set up shortly after I bought it.
Now that would have been...2014?
I found that the local RS and music works did not stock electric 12 string sets..
Can anyone reccomnend a good set ? Guess I'd try local but don't mind ordering something in from yonder .
For playing the usual 12 stuff (petty, Beatles etc )
Thanks
Ric 12 - what strings ?

read that the ddadrio 150s are a reasonable option ...
huh...seems like a big price differential... RS ($30 vs guitarstuff $16)

I'm sure RS Dave would price match it, but supporting the little guy is important tooStrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 8:20 pm read that the ddadrio 150s are a reasonable option ...

Just surprised at the degree of the price disparity?jeremyb wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 9:22 pmI'm sure RS Dave would price match it, but supporting the little guy is important tooStrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 8:20 pm read that the ddadrio 150s are a reasonable option ...

It's probably not a big seller for the RS so therefore priced high, and not a big seller for Cheeseboy so low priceStrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 9:30 pmJust surprised at the degree of the price disparity?jeremyb wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 9:22 pmI'm sure RS Dave would price match it, but supporting the little guy is important tooStrummersOfThunder wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 8:20 pm read that the ddadrio 150s are a reasonable option ...

I use a bog standard set of Ernie balls. I prefer flats on 12; but mine has not been set up for those.
