OK, but what if it's sport sex? Like as in a professional rooting team? Then I'd be more than proud to say I'm rooting for such 'n such team. WAY better than being a porn star, I'd be making the REALLY big bucks and instead of just a camera crew watching me in some flea bag motel, there'd be a whole stadium full of people to cheer me on. Gives a whole new meaning to the question, "What position do you play?" Dontcha think?Note also 'root' then you'll see why we laugh when Yank women say they're rooting for a sports team!!!

Plus, if you're good at it, think of all the money that could be made in endorsments from companies like Trojan or Shiek or AstroGlide or KY. Not to mention the grandaddy of them all, Viagra. That'd be like Tiger Woods Nike endorsment.

righto - back to the original topic ...
I listened to the sound samples on http://www.earvana.com - one strat with the nut, one supposedly identical strat with the standard nut, both through same amp and settings. I di not like the Earvana nut. It's easy to hear the difference, but to my ears it loses the earthiness that you get from the way all the slightly different overtones interact. It just sounds too clinical and pure. It'd be great for playing amplified classical music, but it didn't have that blues/jazz/rock'n'roll soul (to my ears, anyway). Actually, my wife felt the same, and she's not even a musician - but she still felt the earvana one lacked "something". I'll stay away from that evil even temperament.

Hey Rog!
Check out the spoil sport here! He keeps wanting to go back to talking about compensated nuts. Hasn't he realized yet that the thread has been already been compensated for cuz we're totally nuts?
Oops, sorry.
