In life, don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.

So far, the only dick is me.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Is there some survivorship bias here?
LIke I'm sure most/all Stradovarius' (or '59 Les Pauls or whatever) were good... but the really old ones are the really awesome ones which were awesome enough to hold on to and protect?
(in other words, if you got a lemon of a '59 it'd just go to shit and be thrown away)
