whats with the bridge?(i mean the kink on the B string part?) is that just an intonation thing?
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

I wondered that too. I can only think that maybe it's set up for a wound third string, Ash might know.

Yes, its intonation compensation for a wound-G string set.


BTW, this is the DIY section. If the thread disappears, it has probably been moved to the guitar section.

My mistake, it's hard to see with this site's dark and gloomy "skin" with poor text contrast.
Perhaps each of those folders should be headed DIY Guitar, DIY Pedals etc.
