Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

Actually, even though I am a traditionalist....actually scratch that I don't currently own a normal guitar, mine are all department store american stuff, I am waiting to see what that upper bout will look like, my dad is an engineer (tradesman), and I want to see wood plus steel
And he wonders why i very rarely go to his place for a jam. [/quote]
KC, ANY time you can play with someone else is a bonus, you get timing, feedback and learn heaps.....ahhhh he is into steel....just say you want to try the Eagles

Re: Your favourite Strat colour combination...
My favourite Strat colour combo would have to be honeyburst with cream binding and pickguard, gloss black headstock, nickel plated hardware, singlecut mahogany body with a carved maple top, rosewood or ebony 24 3/4" fretboard with trapezoid abalone inlays, two nice humbuckers and a nice bell shaped truss rod cover.
Starting to not really sound like a strat huh?
