I dealt with Dominic26 and only got slightly burnt.

anyway i have a white paf pro i would love to trade it for a white emg
I was there at about three, wearing a cheap beenie and perving on Les Pauls. That wasn't you jammimg on the road worn was it?

As for the paf pro, if you can come up with a SD as well and suitable quality electrics, I would be keen to swap for the EMGs and emg electrics on mine.

GT-10 is pretty good, I like it much better than the X3live I had.
I don't like amp sim or pre sets, but running my favourite pedals in the loop and lots of tweaking I can get some tone happening.
You get a loop station, a giga delay, programmable eq, good sounding wah, plus all the standard effects all in one convienent unit for 1k.
I don't think it would be worth upgrading from a GT-8 though.

I have met him... young-ish guy, seems almost normal. If it makes everyone feel better, I only slightly burnt him with the deal it seems. Some pickups I traded (to him) with were not quite what I was told they were - maybe.

Haha, somebody duped the dom26, haha.

He was ok to deal with, but did not disclose the faults and took way too long to send it. If he was just a touch better and way more honest, he would be fine to deal with.
He has no problem getting stuff for a bargain, but how many repeat sales has he lost by being the dodgy fella?
The GMW is an really amazing guitar, I wouldn't have risked dealing with lift or denche to get it though.
That maken has been quiet lately.
Who really cracks me up is that hannahb6. Every nice gat between 1-3k listed, he pops up asking to trade his JCM900SLX for it. Being doing so several times a week, for over a year now. Hope he gets rid of it and gets a new gat soon.

Yeah hannahb6 is quite frequent in the comments field of guitar related stuff on Trademe. I'm not sure but I think it might be one of the guys from Backyard Burial.

Good score on the GMW by the way man, looks impressive :)

Not intentionally, and I'm still not sure if that's the case. Bloody 'experts' that post questions on TM saying things aren't what they seem, then backing down once questioned....

Hey Aquila well done on getting the gat you wanted. As for the ACC/Income thing you should write a book on your years at sea - no need to tell the absolute truth and everybody loves a good yarn, wife in every port (how you stuffed your back??? :D ) pirates and reeking of the strange, exotic places you've been/wierd sights you've seen :D Get it right and you can tell ACC/WINZ where to put their usually meagre offerings.
You can't do THAT on stage!

12 years at sea have been pretty interesting, could be a yarn without having to be liberal with the truth. Would have to be well written though. I have seen some funny stuff.
I try not to talk about myself too much these days, ever since my ex in nelson became a lesbian and told me that I'm my own favourite subject. True (true, she did become a lezzie, that is)!

ACC are totally corrupt. I have three worn out discs and more. They told me it's normal and age related, not accident related, the specialists say it is far more marked than anybody could expect from normal aging and repeated injury must be called to account for the damage.
They told this girl at uni who has very similar injuries, that her spinal injury is age related degeneration too, she is only in her early 20s.
If you saw how high the levies fishermen and the fishing companies pay, you would think they could afford to help me get treatment and retraining, but no, they pack me off to winz and I have to pay my medical costs and retraining (university) myself, on a benefit.
Cest la vie?? No fu<k that french pansy attitude, we are fighting them!! Never Surrender!!

I should add, that I'm not the only one getting dicked by ACC, winz told me they are seeing a massive increase in ex ACC covered patients now needing disability benefits.

Ironically, a few months ago a ACC memo from the big honcho was leaked to the press. It instructed branch managers to target people being paid more than a certain amount pw in weekly comp and have been off work for more than a few months, for "exit" from the scheme.
This means that 100s of accident victims who are still unable to return to their former vocation are being exited from the scheme well before ACC have fulfulled their commitment to fund treatment and rehabilitation.
It is quite shocking really.

Anyway, getting off topic. I wonder if dominic26 works for ACC?

Nah dominic26 is a used/2nd hand dealer I'd say from his llstings. However I'm NOT advocating giving up on ACC BUT getting enough money via writing to deal to them the only way they understand ie with lawyers and a judge :D

Fair Go is great, but only if you have a really clear case of oppression/cheating etc that cannot be fudged with rules/interpretations/pr bulldust/spin - you notice when they take on city councils, Govt Dept etc things often don't work so well because the 'faceless ones' are able to spin doctor in a way Ronnie Ratbag cannot over his dodgy used car he sold you.

One's ex's tell you all sorts of things, but rarely true/just their take on reality - the best reply is 'have a nice life and I'm doing really well, thanks for asking' - kinda chokes them up a bit :D :D :D :D

Needles to say when they return, with hand held out, you explain that's 'really well - SPIRITUALLY speaking' :D :D :D

But I'm serious about the writing - I mean the travel alone will give you a dimension the average NZ person will not have PLUS the writing practice will help no end with the Uni bulldust ya have to churn out in the paper chase. Unless of course you intend doing a degree for illiterates such as MBA, MPP etc. :D
You can't do THAT on stage!

I have a trade union workplace injury advocate putting together a review. An ACC contracted specialist wrote a report about me that has since been refuted by independent specailists. ACC disregarded all other reports and used their contracted specialist's report to deny liability. We are arguing that it is a gradual process injury that encompasses all my previous injuries, that has caused me to be unable to return to my work at sea.
It is a strong case now, that clearly shows ACC are liable pay compensation, and this is supported by many specialist reports. The advocate will then put it to the CTU legal team, and then to ACC. If ACC still won't play ball, it will go to a judge.
All I want is my medical costs covered and finacial assitance to retrain, so I can start making money again. I have very few skills or qualifications that are transferable to well paid land based vocations. Part of the ACC charter is to rehabilitate injured people to be able to work agian in a vocation that they are physically able to cope with and that the salary is similar.
If I win, I will have to make sure I use the money well and don't spend it all on guitar gear, especially not give dom26 anymore money.

I wish you all the best in dealing with ACC, AR - the bassist in a band i was in down south had such an awful relationship with them - he was on the potlines at Tiwai and has an asbestosis-like lung disease - that he fronted up to the Dunedin offices and chucked a bucket of pigshit all over the place!! It certainly got their attention but drew a little judicial intervention as well....
There is no sort of aberrant behaviour that cannot be modified by use of the correct ammunition!
