WAT.

He played nearly all of the rhythm guitars on Superunknown (yep) and most of the guitars on Down on the Upside.

Probably thinking of Audioslave-era Cornell? That's when I first got into his stuff, and I often used to forget that he played guitar most of the time in Soundgarden.

Yep definitely think of Cornell as a guitarist. On the other hand Washburn put out that Sammy Hagar signature guitar... I have one, and it's not bad for the low price, but you wouldn't buy it to sound like Sammy would you? :)
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
