Gibson is truly following their dream of being the Harley-Davidson of guitars. Nothing could turn me off more.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Quite literally, the past of Gibson (well, excl May).

I wonder what's going to happen with their partnership with Brian? Is he going to ditch the Red Special after 60 years and start playing a 335?

Looking at the present and future guitarists, I'll stick with the past thanks. Audible dreck, 90% of it. Although there still seems to be a plethora of youngsters on YouTube playing Sabbath and Zeppelin material, so maybe there is hope.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

If it's anything like their t-shirts, I don't want one. The sleeves are too short and tight. Like it's large everywhere else, and medium on the sleeves.sizzlingbadger wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 10:15 amIs it a Gibson cardigan ?JoeBlow wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 10:11 am Looking at the present and future guitarists, I'll stick with the past thanks.
