This has come up. I think I need to buy it. However, it's more than twice what I've ever paid for a guitar: $7,000.
I'd be a fool not to. Right?

Sell all your other stuff. The R9 will possibly make them largely redundant.

It's not often you see them that dark around the perimeter

If I get this I'll have to sell more than the Tokai. Collect the Tokai first thing tomorrow. Could be a short-lived relationship.twangnsnarl wrote:Buy it. Sell me the Tokai. We'll both be happy.
LOL. I think I'll be banned from buying anything until my 60th.Eruera wrote:Promise me you'll get a tweed duluxe after this

It's a fuckload of money for a guitar, especially given how many lovely instruments you haven't bonded with. Sure it's probably nicer but you seem to enjoy the chase more than the result so I don't see you being any happier with this one than the others. I'd love to be wrong!
EDIT: End of the day it's your money, and apparently discretionary money at that, but is this really the best investment in terms of happiness you'll get?
