Do Teles take up the most realestate in your gear shed these days? I assumed Strats had the largest shareholding? But by the looks of this photo Teles might be taking over!kdawg2a wrote:Took an opportunity today to take a photo of the Tele herd. All partscasters of various assemblages.

Tokai Breezysound. My first Tele. It was a lovely thing and still works hard around the pubs. We parted company a few years ago. Still have the original pickguard though.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Originally John Jorgenson and later, Tommy Emmanuel. Actually, before he and John met, so they were together on my pickguard first............ oh never mind.Molly wrote:Who signed the pickguard?

The neck on that one is kwila, not rosewood. No truss rod.handsoffmatt wrote:Agreed.bender wrote:+1. That neck is awesome.AiRdAd wrote:
Such a cool guitar!!!
Rosewood necked guitars are one of my favourite things, yet I've never owned one. They lend a wonderful attack characteristic to the note and just look and feel amazing.

Re: Show us your Telecasters
Yes, that's the one. I had plans to use it on a korina cabronita, but I ballsed it up and promptly ran out of time, money and workshop. Good to see it in use as very little else has made it out into the wild since.werdna wrote:I think the neck on Simple Si's tele is one I gave Adrian. It has the best figuring of any neck I have ever seen. Elegant and lovely.
