Well I presume the threads not just limited to Fenders? As neither of my 3 count otherwise lol

Do you mean the neck pocket side wiggles or the additional holes in the body? Both common on that vintage of Mexi Strat. Not sure what those holes are used for, either way. I guess it is Fender's way of keeping the weight down?

Here's my #1, a very well used '91 MIM. The neck has seen a bit of playing over the years :)

Molly wrote:Off to a good start. Those two look very nice indeed. Here's my 2000 (I think) CS 1960 Relic. The best Strat I've had and the last guitar I'd sell. Don't know if the pictures show it but the nitro is crazed to feck. Big frets. Great dirty blues sort of tone. Kind of gritty rather than bell-like.
That is a stunning looking Strat mate, ticks all the boxes. Damn fine case too

Another homemade hackjob.

Do love Warmoth necks though - this ones made out of Goncalo Alves (whatever that is :p)

Consensus is some kind of CNC registry holes for locating the bit of wood in the machine. Or possibly some form of identification but you'd think a stamp would do the trick there.

Williow Wins! (Wot; no charcoal finish?)

Kdawg a close second. (Though Rosewood boards are worth bonus points)

Awesome Gentlemen!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
