Thanks, yeah had my eye on that and the red one. Unfortunately those colours dont do much for me. Its whale blue or charcoal burst for me if I ever get a 24 :)

I have an older McCarty, with soap bars/P90s and much less fancy. In any case they share one feature I hugely value, that being a perfectly placed volume pot that I can use with my hand in normal playing/palm muting position. I don't understand why more makers and models don't adopt this.

The new McCarty's have taken the MC58 features without the fancy artist top. It's an option for an artist, but those MC58's had them on stock.

I am a sucker for bird inlays and these new MCs and the MC58s have the ME inlays which are fancier than the jay birds that came out in 2012-2014 production.

Beautiful guitar you have there. McCarty burst at its finest.
