Yeah, I suppose the follow up is I went and bought like $25 worth of tools, and then recently a soldering iron etc. and all in I've probably spent $100.
Still missing a feeler gauge.

Got my set of feeler gauges from either fleabay or Aliexpress... can't remember. To be honest I have yet to use it. In fact, I think I may have lost it... can't for the life of me think of where I put it! Eyeballing and hands-on estimates work just as well for me...
