I've had three repaired Gibsons. All seemed good and solid. Wood glue is amazing stuff. Honestly. How the fuck does it work?

Gibson necks don't break by themselves.

If I was into making fake gibsons I would put a fake glue line around where that one is ... no one would think it was fake then

not really an asshole. The tulip buttons are sealed onto the shaft and almost impossible to replace/get by themselves (at least to the level of quality and finish of the one on the Gibson)Aquila Rossa wrote:I also see some asshole guitar repair man has made his buy a whole set of after market tuner instead of just replacing the broken tulip tuner button on the original Kluson ones.
and as for the machine heads they come in packs of 6, most manufacturers don't sell them individually.
Sure the repairer can just open the pack and charge for one, but with all the different brands/styles/types of machineheads they're lucky to ever sell the remaining 5 in any reasonable timeframe so basically are just throwing away money to fix someone elses mistake.
Maybe think before slagging someone off for doing literally what any repairer would do
