I also liked the Pearly Gates...but my wallet had recently been traumatised by the ES-335 when the local one was up for grabs (and in my hands!)...
Greg Bennett anyone?

I'll put down Andy Summers Tele too as I needed a Tele on this list but I'm sure there are others I'd prefer I just can't think of one right now.
What signature Teles are there?
John 5, Richie Kotzen, Andy Summers, is there a Bruce Springsteen one?

I think there are some great handbuilt SRV 'relic' Strats out there, many of them look near enough identical to his famous number 1.
Personally I don't care much for the brand spanking new looking SRV signature model, it just looks like a nice dark sunburst Strat with gold hardware to me. Maybe after 30yrs of playing it it might look a little closer to the original

There's a GE Smith tele and a Keith Richards, both really, really cool guitars.

Re: Signature guitars: your top 3?..
1. Ibanez Universe Swirl (original release). I had a Waynes World Jimi Strat moment with this on a trip to the Auck Rockshop as a kid....still isnt mine though
2. Peavey Wolfgang. I am in the minority that actually rate this Van Halen Era. This gat was a teenage dream and ...yes it will be mine (US model is in the mail as I type)
3. Fender Clapton blackie tied with ESP KH .... crazy mix but again, teenage fanboi'izm at its finest.
Special mentions goe to the Scholfield, Benson and Methany Ibanez and the Pass Epi...... it was a phase but I would still be happy with any of these sigs.

I've never thought about this, so had to filter musician's friend by signature models. I'll take these 3 please...

Re: Signature guitars: your top 3?..
I had a Dean Dimebag model a few years back with some really god Bill Laurence pickups in it. But it had a Floyd Rose and changing strings just killed me.
Not signature as such because I don't think Gibson do one (?) but a natural wood/no paint Albert King style Flying V would be pretty desirable.
