Anyone know Tim Castelow from Blazing Shade

Post by Reg18 »

does anyone know him?
He bought a guitar off me via FB but it turns out the guitar has a crack in the headstock (which wasn't noticed before I sent it) however he had an issue with a buzz in the guitar (also not noticed when I plugged it in at my end before sending it)
These could well be genuine issues and therefore justifys a refund but because I don't know him and can't verify the issues myself I'm a little concerned.

He plays in a band called Blazing Shade and lives in Auckland.

Has he sent you pics of the break? Maybe if you saw it - you would get a better idea of whether it was there when you had it. Eg. if it was really noticeable - you'd know it wasn't there when you had it.

Also, do you think it might have happened in transit?

Yes he sent me pics and it's really tiny, in fact he hadn't noticed it until he took it to his guitar tech who pointed it out. So there is a good chance I didn't notice it either but just wanna check to see if he is the real deal before I refund the money and hope he sends the guitar back!

Turns out he took it to his brother Eddie Castelow at Lewis Eddy who gave him the reccomedation to get a refund.
I know who Eddie is, Degrees K, dictaphone Blues etc so I'm assuming he will vouch for his brother.
