New Fender "Made in Japan Traditional" guitar line
Fender released a new line of guitars in Japan called the "Made in Japan Traditional" series on September 5. These are slightly different from previous MIJ Fenders. Differences I can see include:
-Serial number and "Made in Japan" on the back of the headstock, like MIM and MIA Fenders.
-Headstock decal appears to be placed on top of the finish, instead of under it.
-Colors are new/reworked. Surf Green, Artic White, Daphne Blue, Torino Red, Black, Sunburst.
Guitars include Teles, Strats, Jaguars, Jazzmasters, Mustangs. Basses include Jazzes and P-Basses.
Here are some of the offsets (my favourites):
Here's an Ishibashi listing for an artic white Jazzmaster (Red tort):
Torino Red Jazzmaster:
Artic white Jag (brown tort):
Daphne Blue Jag:

Only if it's Lake Placid Blue and has Chrissie Hynde attached to it. And it's thirty-odd years ago.jeremyb wrote:Mmmm double bound tele, hottest guitar in the universe!
