NGD Tele

Post by sizzlingbadger »

Went to MP to get a G&L ASAT as I had a budget of about $1000 but they have sold out. They had a Baja but it was out of my price range.

Popped into RS and found a nice mexi Tele. But then something caught my eye hanging up high in the amp room. Fell in love straight away when I played it. Budgets have to be broken sometimes.

Pics later when I get home
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Wandering around a mall with wife looking for trousers, the agony knowing your new guitar is in the boot of car waiting to be played.

They could be for his missus, so 5 mins == 5 hours...

Tell her you'll wait in the car, in Maccas car park. I always leave a guitar mag in the car for such situations.

Then stay in the car and leave her to it.

Just look at people and be like: "yeah I'm playing a tele unplugged in a mall carpark. so what."

Ooohhhh  sexual
Now , I've been surious about this 'classic 60s' Japan line.
What's the neck profile like ? Have they needed it up ? Traditionally the Jap fenders had a very shallow squashed C profile.
Congrats. She's lovely.

Mexican Classic 60s has a massive neck. Not quite Baja spec though.
