Help with rough valuation

Post by Danban »

Hi Guys,

I have a 1992 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Honeyburst with ohsc I'm thinking of selling?

It's in pretty good condition with minimal fretwear.

Can you guys give me a rough valuation on it please?

Cheers
Dan

creative way of getting around the 100 post thing, but in answer to your question, $2100-$2800 ish. Honey Burst is generally reasonably popular and easy to move if the price is right.

If it needs fretwork that'll make a difference.

Also, there's no shortage of bread-and-butter LPs around and finding folk with $3k to splash on a guitar seems near impossible at the moment. If you want it sold I'd pitch it in the low 2s.

Last 1992 I sold belonged to a friend of mine, but man the frets were fucked. 1650 with ohsc.

One in good nick that doesn’t need a refret, with case blah blah - less than 2500 and you’re doing something wrong.

Cheers, wasn't planning on listing it on here because of the 100 post thing.

Would post it on FB and TM but I'm still not convinced on selling it.

Ideally I'd trade it for another electric guitar.

Trades can work well. What are you looking for?
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
