Strat neck + bridge

Post by Conway »

The Tom Anderson Strat I've just got from Opsguy has a tone push/pull to add in the bridge pickup. I have to say the neck and bridge together is a sonic revelation!   So much nicer that the middle pickup.

My strat is wired the opposite way. It's got a push button to add the neck pickup to every other pickup combination. I agree - neck and bridge together is cool!

Yeah, that is my favourite mod for a strat. So far all of my guitars have that option. Twangy goodness.

I only use the middle pickup for positions 2 and 4 combined with other pickups. I like those, but yep agree by itself the middle pickup doesn't add much.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.
