A play on words, or words on play
Last chapter, verse in the final act
Words well scripted, each sentence choking
Inaudible gag, blanket which suffocates
As you eat another's words
Malnourished, you starve.

Like a an electric I bought that had completely fucked intonation, and that had been given an acoustic string in place of the regular B string. And there were several other bits that were glued on an destined to fail if the guitar were probably adjusted - clearly made that way to look good enough to get a sale and thats all.
I saw a horrendous body that had been originally made by Ash and butchered by some guy on TM. Completely full of epoxy and several other weird arrangements. Ash actually made me a new body for free as a swap just to get it off trademe and so that he could destroy it.
I know the body you mean!!!! I saw it when I was up in his workshop!!!! hahahahahah!!!

Re: Horror Stories
I bought an iRig HD off Conway last week. Normally such things end up in a drawer never to be used, because the idea is always greater than the actual, but this weekend I made a concerted effort and plugged it into my iPad.
With Amplitube loaded into Garage Band it sounded pretty nice, dialed in some nice cleans, good bit of British bite, some dirty blues... Then selected modern metal tones and it immediately went into some weird loop, then went silent and gave me an error message "Error: device not supported". Despite my best efforts it remained silent, so it appears I broke it with metal.
(internetting indicates it is a relatively common issue... the error message, not breaking it with metal, just got to work through the various suggested fixes).

The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Re: Horror Stories
A number of close calls, but no horror stories, which is surprising how many transactions I've done over the years.
I got a lot of "good outcome stories".

I'd value those as well Grant, we could do with some balance or we will all get very cynical in this thread!GrantB wrote:A number of close calls, but no horror stories, which is surprising how many transactions I've done over the years.

Re: Horror Stories
Yeah, I thought that. I'm really struggling to think of a horror story. Always fear that statistically it's just around the corner.olegmcnoleg wrote:I'd value those as well Grant, we could do with some balance or we will all get very cynical in this thread!GrantB wrote:A number of close calls, but no horror stories, which is surprising how many transactions I've done over the years.
