best carrier to send overseas?

Post by Kris »

Wanting to flick one of my guitars as the market pays better in europe than what i would get here, outside of the madness i just read on the nz post site-what are some other options?i can only think of dhl which would be mental as well......I'm used to bringing stuff in,not shipping it out!

p.s-guitar is nothing anyone here would want, before you ask.

Unfortunately sending it through EMS via NZpost would be the best way. DHL/Fedex etc would be more expensive.
Amps:
Soldano SLO100 x2 | Wizard MC1 & MC2 | Diezel Herbert
Fryette Pittbull CL | Marshall 2203KK | Krank Rev 50 | Mesa Mark 2A

Rack stuff:
VHT/Fryette GP3, GP/DI & 2/90/2 | Peters FSM/Chimera
Verellen Meatsmoke | Synergy SYN1 | Mesa Studio

Not all of us on here are into grandad guitars.

Although if "want" also includes "... it enough to buy it", then maybe you have a point.

NZ Post is probably going to be your most cost effective solution.

Hey, hey....I resemble that comment!

I sent a guitar to Japan recently by NZ Post. Was good price, and reasonably fast.

A quick quote through the NZ post website said $435...i doubt anyone would wanna stump for that. Doesn't help the case is the same size as a garden shed.
