Victory are KILLER amps, Martin Kid is an amp-building genius. IMHO they probably sit right in the middle of being in that Marshall territory whilst at the same time having a 69'er with the boutique market.

I thought white was the best option since sparkly blue was unavailable.

Agreed. Hopefully, once they get on top of all the back orders, they might expand the colour range. (It doesn't have to be sparkly)

Interesting, keen to hear what you think of that when you have had a chance to play it.

(If anyone wants a cheaper version, I have a 25.5 Warmoth neck (Strat pocket) with 3-a-side tuners and a proper neck angle, like that one! You would need to supply the PRS logo and the birds though.)

I hope that's not a three piece neck with plastic birds on a USA Made Guitar

edit: google says spliced headstock. hmmmm I predict the old ones with hold value from here on in.
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

Why? Are they changing the spec? The spliced headstock doesn't concern me. Ibanez and Taylor do it routinely.

I cant do the Scarf joint. seems like a cost saving measure or worse.
some of the new PRS US made guitars are sporting Scarf joints and spliced heel blocks.
I cant abide. not for that price anyway. sure on an Ibanez at a lower price point, there prestige range at a higher price don't have scarf joints.
this is going to hurt PRS in my opinion

DOOM N GLOOM

I can live with three way stressed necks, at least they are constructed out of a single piece of Maple.

hmmmm, now I`m thinking, is the Trem an American made one?

The scarf joint is only used on some cheaper US made bolt-on neck or S2 models. Not US Core models. I think it's both cost and ecology based - it does save a lot of Maple from being wasted.

I've always thought the scarf joint was a cheap thing, but my Caparison has a scarf joint.
Weird seeing as it's a high end expensive guitar, but doesn't bother me

check the spec on the silver sky.
