Where are people getting their set ups etc. done in Hamilton? I know Keith MacMillan is good but a bit pricey for me. Morris at Shearers used to do a great job but who is around now? The guitar I bought for my son had heavy gauge strings and was set up for C tuning and there's a few buzzing issues now I've put lighter ones on and tuned to E.
I want to change out the pick ups in one of my guitars as well
Set ups etc. in the Tron?

Does the lack of responses mean:
1. No one gets set ups in Hamilton?
2. I’m just a cheapo and everyone goes to Keith? Or,
3. That other reason that might make me want to go and sit in a dark corner eating ice cream and listening to Leonard Cohen .

Honestly, doing your own set ups is the way to go.
Its actually dead easy and you dont need any fancy gear.
Plus, ive had times when ive payed money for set ups and then had to tweak things to my liking anyway.

It doesn't seem there are too many people doing it (in a professional, job sense) in Hamilton at the moment! Not sure who replaced Morris at Shearer's, and I don't know if the Ham RS offer in-store setups etc like they used to. I've been going to Keith for years now though. Top guy, and I like what he does.
That's a solid offer from the Spud too!
