I’ve got someone interested in a trade which involves the above guitar.
Any comments on value/ease of sale etc?

I was actually deciding between buying one of those and your EBMM JP12 for about the same price but then the JP12 was made in USA and EB makes exceptional guitars so that won my decision over, still keen to get a Duo Jet MIJ one day tho

Would need a few more details to be sure of value. But they seem to hang around a bit when listed. Less than $2k if you want a quick sale would be my guess.Kiwiaxe wrote:I’ve got someone interested in a trade which involves the above guitar.

Re: Value? Gretsch Duo Jet MIJ 2005
There have been 2 listed this week, 1 powerjet for 2k (didn’t sell) and an older pre Fender black one without Bigsby which was also listed at 2k.
There was a nice black one with aftermarket SD dyna sonics which sold for 2.4k last week.
I was on the hunt for one until my wife said the words “Hell” and “Like” but not in that order!

They used to go for 2.3K - so now around the $2K would be right. Things have got cheaper second hand as the market has filled up with goods but relatively the same number of buyers. Supply and demand 101.
