Fender (still) and, specifically, the Nocaster and, specifically, THIS Nocaster... Oh my...
Love the little run at 5:15 and 7:03 to 7:10. Some really nifty playin' there.

Re: Favourite Guitar Company
had an old mate from Australia over for a recording project over the weekend. he tried all of my guitars before picking the:
Partsocaster. esp neck/warmoth body Dimazios V Trem.
I was surprised.

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

I guess sometimes guitars are greater than the sum of their parts. Or something like that.mrmofo wrote:had an old mate from Australia over for a recording project over the weekend. he tried all of my guitars before picking the:

Hopefully if you need to sell it you can just see it as a means to an end.GrantB wrote: Unless you need to sell it.

Yes. Can't we get past this?
I've something rather special arriving tomorrow but for once thought I'm just not going to mention it. I'll just have to read the usual blah blah about how I'll have sold it next week etc. etc. Might be true but it doesn't stop it being tiresome.

Re: Favourite Guitar Company
Sorry, I wasn't meaning to have a crack, I was just wondering if you had actually had one as I do remember "Nocaster" and "Wildwood" at different stages. And as you posted that video you must have liked it more than others. I know you like to try the different ones out so the fact it wasn't a keeper is simply a reflection of your journey. I watch, with some envy, at your comings and goings.Molly wrote:Yes. Can't we get past this?

I sometimes wish you'd do proper youtube reviews so we could all learn a bit more about them. But in most cases there are probably sufficient reviews on YT anyway.
Just go for it mate!

to be fair you do post about every single courier delivery so its a bit instagram kardashian style fair game to expect some mild friendly ribbing
I do enjoy reading about your purchases but have privately wondered lately how old your kids are and at what point could they start learning some bad habits with their hobbies and pasttimes. Dad I need a new Pony,
Your a teacher so I know your experienced in the buggers and how they soak up so much of what they see.
