Congrats! I've heard good things and have a JTV-59 which, even without the Line6 wizardry is actually just a damn fine guitar. I'm sure JT would sell way more guitars if he did something about that hideous headstock!
Re: NGD - best worst headstock ever
I bought it off my mate who is a session guitarist in Hong Kong. unscrew the neck from the body and put it inside my suitcase full of towelsZaulkin wrote:Oosh. I want to hear it! Congrats
Where'd you get it from?

The reason not a whole lot of people have them is less about the headstock but more about the fact that they are US$5000 a pop.Basket Case wrote:I'm sure JT would sell way more guitars if he did something about that hideous headstock!

Re: NGD - best worst headstock ever
I remember him doing a lot of custom guitars for some famous guitarists back in the 80's (?) I think. Pretty sure he started working on Strat's - doing really cool paint jobs and a few other mods then as word started getting round he ended up making his own ones. Sure that headstock is contentious, but at least it's somewhat original.
I always thought it would be cool to have one of these because my name is James Styler

Off-topic... I used to work with a Phil Styler. It doesn't strike me as a very common surname. Any relation of yours?Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:I always thought it would be cool to have one of these because my name is James Styler
