I do like the look of that strat! Reminds me of the one I had in the 80s.

Maybe the asking price reflects the time invested in the authentic relicing? :)

Not usually a strat fam but i think its pretty cool. almost 30 yrs old too.
Id say if it were a $1 reserve itd reach 1k pretty easy dont you reckon?
New USA strat must be pretty spendy and id MUCH rather have this one.
Id say 1-1.2k youd be getting a good deal of guitar for your money

wouldn't playing it enough to have worn thru the lacquer on neck that much mean the frets would be pretty diveted or been pretty seriously flattened with resets by now. Think I'd be wanting to see it in person or have it assessed by someone

For a start, that needs a fucking good fret fetlling. The tops are worn flat! I doubt if theres enough meat in them to crown them properly - and the fret edges don't go to the fretboard edge - that is going to be trouble on 1st string with a capital T.

Knock at least 350 off for that.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Oh and give it a steam clean if you get it, you don't want to catch the black death or whooping cough.

looks like its been played by a guy wearing a Harley Davidson style eagle pinky ring.

has that high E string falls off the fredboard look to it.
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.
