Top 5 electric guitars
I don’t think I’ve seen one like this. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Top 5 gats that you reckon would satisfy your sonic palette. I know the web has a few top 5 but would like to know here.
Mine :
LP / Strat / 335 /Tele / Gretsch white falcon

Re: Top 5 electric guitars
Sonic pallete? Then probably the same answer as everyone else - Strat, Tele, LP, 335, Something with p90s, and something with a Wang bar.
But what id prefer is 5 Suhr Moderns in different colours.

Strat
Korina Tele that thinks it's a well behaved Les Paul Junior.
Duesenberg.
A proper Tele.
Something with humbuckers I could actually get along with.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Sounds like Jonathan Livingston Seagull's evil descendant.
With added relationship issues.
Look it up, Kids.

Re: Top 5 electric guitars
The best thing about a strat is the neck pickup and the best thing about a tele is the bridge pickup so may I suggest a hardtail strat with a tele bridge/pickup, ash body, rosewood neck? Covers lots of bases and would sound great.
My 4 other choices would be;
1) Casino with P90s.
2) Sheraton with mini hums and a trem.
3) A good, light, Les Paul with proper, bright, no muddiness PAFs.
And 4) Gretsch 6120 with TV Jones because they absolutely do the job they say they will.
Special mention for a Jag, a Ricky 330 and a Teisco ss4-l.
I need 8 guitars. 9 if supa strat-tele doesn't work.

1958 Fender twin, 1965 Vox AC30, 1966 Marshall JTM 45, 1977 Dumble OD Special.

And jokes aside, the Warlock did have a big impact on the guitar world in the 80's, so I think that one is justified.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.
