NO!!! JUST NO! That's just an ugly rehash of a Strat. It's adds nothing to the lexicon of single coil guitars and is simply a cash grab from the terminally discontent.

Hate it.

Yes I know I'm in a minority of one so I'll get my coat.

Sure I can find one. You on for tomorrow? I'm starting to get quite choked up at such a mass funeral.

It’s very unstrat to me. Also in terms of single coil lexicons it has a humbucker so ….
I believe an evolution of their surfliner that never ‘surfed’ due to silly lack of trem and funny switches.
As such I don’t see it as something that’s just popped up to satiate the throbbing offset hipster hordes.
Mind you I have similarly strong reactions to strats proper. So….
So…..
Maybe go rub your Princeton, you’ll feel better.

That said it is just a funny pink wobbly guitar with shiney bits.

I do understand and you are right (rubbing Princeton furiously). But It sounds just like a Strat (with a humbuggy) and it's not .... oh heck I don't know! I certainly don't want one. Be happy, enjoy... you can play it infinitely better than I could anyway. :D Go Pink. It's wrong in every way, just like the rest of the guitar.

You don’t have to have one Bruce. And luckily they aren’t bringing many in so the chances of you being assaulted by one in the bingo lounge is very low (but never zero)

My favourite colour?
It might work in white. On a white background.

I thought maybe you would opt for black and white stripes :-)

Well the pinks have it by a huge margin and will govern without having to form a coalition.
Massive reshuffle of portfolios with mustang style looking to take over the bridge portfolio and a substantial swing away from the historically liberal ‘tremolo spring’ electorate to a hard line conservative ultra right wing AVRI high tension spring.

Update:
I went and tried the pink surfliner at a prominent local musical instrument retailer.

Verdict. Ewwww

This guitar feels cheap. Like Cheeeaaapppp
Very very light, plasticy (almost soft) poly.
The fit and finish was very poor. The apperture for the pickup switch was ragged and primer could be seen (I think) around the sides of it (brown rough goop).
The pickups were really. Almost sounded like a strat. ANd they looked very plasticy and cheap too. The bridge humbucker didnt impress.
Fret ends were sharp. Trem and bridge were zongy and rattly.
TBH I dont know if ive played a work $1000+ guitar ?
It felt like a $300 guitar.

So... there you have it

The Guild shart liner
