I'd be honored to finish it, but Slash-ed didn't enable the download option on his take. I just PM'd him. If worse comes to worst I'll record it as a stream in real time.

Great job, team!

I'm interested to see what everyone else's signal chain was like for recording their parts.

Here's mine:

AmStd Strat -> Flashback X4 (just a bit of slapback) -> Mesa Mark V on 10W Tweed mode -> Blackstar Artisan 2x12" (V30s) -> Audix i5 slightly off axis.

Well done guys, very enjoyable, so much musical and recording talent. I like all sections, but the guitar playing in the first section particularly does it for me. Tele with some subtle effect?

What recording gear do you guys use?

Mine was La Cabronita - Ampeg Reverberocket (built by Ryan) - Cascade Fathead ribbon mic - CAPI VP28 mic preamp (vintage API console style) - RME UFX interface - Pro Tools HD10 -Maag EQ4 to add a bit of high frequency - Echoboy delay in space echo mode for the slap echo.

Mine as follows:

*1 bottle of Villa Maria 2011 Cabernet Merlot
*Epi Dot, both pups with the bridge bumped a bit higher than the neck
*Mesa Mini Rec in vintage mode (gain about 10 o'clock, master at 8, everything else around noon), 10W into Mesa Mini 1x12 V30
*Boss DD-7 in analog mode set for subtle 3 repeat
*Rode M1 (windscreen removed) about 4cm from edge of speaker, slightly off axis
*Focusrite iTrack Solo interface
*Audacity

Thanks again, guys. I enjoyed everybody's takes with their different approaches and tones.

Nice one! Is that detune effect coming from the space echo?
