Besides, I know slightly less than shit-all about Pink Floyd or what the Gilmour sound is like.
High gain, shred tastic. How do you know what Porn Funk sounds like??

Also, I didn't record mine with an amp. Thanks Gearbox.

If no one manages a go by the weekend I'll finish it up. But if anyone is more keen, by all means, go right ahead.

It doesn't have to be done in a Floyd style, its just what I used to make the backer - no excuses, just hit record ;)

Here's mine.

I got the impression that the Gilmour sound is rife with effects, so I banged a few on using the GT6, and Bob's yer uncle.

I decided what I was gonna do fairly quickly (as opposed to usual), but kept mucking up. Here's the best take. Pity is mushed with silly effects, cos it was the LP Custom's first clip too :D

Are you plugging the guitar straight into the computer or micing your amp?

Just had a chance to listen. Nice work - enjoyed the countryish feel in places, and sounds like you got the clipping sorted. Cool to hear the different approaches taken on this jam.

One more slot to go before BG?
