Well you seem to have picked that dag nab slide stuff up pretty quick. Nice playing, if you know anyone has a single cone try one, that will wet your whistle too, Son House and Bukka White snarly blues :mrgreen:

Yeah my voice has turned to shit since I stopped smoking, I used to sound like Tom Waits, now I'm more like Justin Beaver :(

This is starting to make me seriously wonder.

Crossroad's opening sequence had R J playing an acoustic into the corner into a mic... but with THIS track, I'm starting to wonder if they recorded a Dobro and video'ed a wood body...

BG, I don't know what you did, but the vox sounded better in the first clip.

ah dunno, should be pretty similar as same gear, same session just moved the mic around I guess, in between songs.

Your voice was fine but the absolute sweet spot on the mic is not quite the same. You captured it differently, like how it is on the very old recordings on the first take. The second clip is awesome too other than that.....
